Here are three minimally invasive spine surgery devices and technologies making a splash in the industry.

A new study published in Clinical Spine Surgery compares Siemens' Siremobile Iso-C 3D and Ziehm's Vision FD Vario 3D for intraoperative imaging and navigation during minimally invasive spine surgery. The study authors concluded, "The Siremobile Iso-C 3D provides high-quality 3D scans in slender spine regions, whereas the Vision FD Vario 3D appears to have advantages in the lumbar spine."

Mark Giovanini, MD, is among the first to perform a minimally invasive SI joint fusion with the Mazor Renaissance System in the Southeast U.S.
