Joimax highlights benefits of endoscopic MIS at Germany Spine Society's congress

Karlsruhe, Germany-based joimax participated in the Germany Spine Society's 11th congress, held from Dec. 1 to Dec. 3 2016 in Hannover, Germany.

Here are five highlights:

 

1. The congress offered information about the latest techniques and data related to endoscopic spine surgery.

 

2. Joimax develops technologies and training methods for endoscopic minimally invasive spine surgery.

 

3. The device company highlighted its MultiZYTE RT, MultiZYTE SI for Sacroiliac Joint therapy and the Intracs Intraoperative Navigation Tracking & Control System.

 

4. During the congress, joimax hosted two lunch symposiums focused on surgical indications and pain therapy.

 

5. Alastair Gibson, MD, of Edinburgh, Scotland, recently published a study that highlights the benefits of endoscopic MIS, "A randomized controlled trial of TED vs Microdiscectomy," in the European Spine Journal.

 

"Endoscopic minimally invasive techniques are becoming more and more the first choice in spinal surgery. This is also reflected in the steadily and now fast growing number of studies showing the benefits on these treatment modalities," said Wolfgang Ries, CEO and founder, joimax.
