Tony Nguyen Aram, MD (Robotic Surgery Center, Fairfax, Va.). Dr. Aram is the medical director at the Robotic Surgery Center, specializing in orthopedics sports medicine. He specializes in the development of minimally invasive and robotic procedures and teaches robotic guided surgery techniques to physicians worldwide. He performs his surgeries using computer navigation and robotics to resurface joints and fix only the damaged parts. He studied orthopedics at the University of Pittsburgh and excelled in joint reconstruction, trauma and sports medicine. He received his medical training from the University of Maryland School of Medicine. Dr. Aram is board certified in Orthopedic Surgery and is a fellow of both the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
Andrew D. Pearle, MD (Hospital for Special Surgery, New York City). Dr. Pearle is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine and robotic surgery. He developed one of the first computer assisted surgery programs in the United States and was one of the first surgeons in New York City to perform a novel robotic-assisted partial knee replacement procedure. He's the editor-in-chief of the journal "Techniques in Knee Surgery" and has authored more than 100 original scientific papers on ACL reconstruction and robotic surgery. Dr. Pearle is also a team physician for the New York Mets. He's a graduate of Amherst College in Massachusetts and Stanford Medical School in California. He completed his orthopedic surgery and sports medicine fellowship training at the Hospital for Special Surgery.
Kevin Murphy, MD (Sports Medicine Oregon, Tigurd). Dr. Murphy is a sports medicine physician and a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with fellowship training in sports medicine. His clinical interest is in the care and rehabilitation of injured athletes, and his surgical expertise includes robotic surgery, arthroscopy, joint reconstruction and orthopedic trauma. Dr. Murphy is the assistant team physician for the Portland Timbers professional soccer team, and he provides orthopedic care at the Nike Medicine Clinic in Oregon. He attended medical school at the University of Southern California and his internship at the University of California at Irvine. His additional training includes a sports medicine fellowship at SOAR/Stanford University in Redwood City, Calif.
Frank R. Noyes, MD (Cincinnati SportsMedicine & Orthopaedic Center). Dr. Noyes is the chairman and medical director at the Cincinnati SportsMedicine & Orthopaedic Center. He's a board-certified orthopedic surgeon who specialized in knee surgery and sports medicine. He also diagnoses and treats complex knee problems internationally. Dr. Noyes performed one of the first robotic knee surgeries in Ohio. He received his medical degree at the University of Michigan Medical Center in Ann Arbor. He then completed a four year clinical term as an orthopedic surgeon in the United State Air Force as a Lieutenant Colonel. While in the Air Force, Dr. Noyes researched knee ligament injuries, the effects of immobility, biomechanics, injury prevention and the diagnosis and treatment of serious knee disorders. He's a member of several organizations, including the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine and Arthroscopy Association of North America.
Martin William Roche, MD (Holy Cross Hospital, Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.). Dr. Roche is the chief of orthopedics at Holy Cross Hospital and the surgical director at the Holy Cross Orthopedic Institute. He has performed thousands of reconstructive joint procedures and is a pioneer in minimally invasive techniques for joint replacements, robotics and sensor applications. He specializes in advanced autologous cartilage implantation for the knee. Dr. Roche earned his medical degree in Ireland and completed his orthopedic training and surgical residency at the University of Miami's Jackson Memorial Hospital in Florida. He's a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and American Association of Hip and Knee surgeons. He also is a consultant and team physician for the Miami Marlins.
Thomas J. Parr, MD (Houston Orthopedic & Spine Hospital, Bellaire, Texas). Dr. Parr is the Chief of Staff for Houston Orthopedic & Spine Hospital and is board-certified in both orthopedic surgery and sports medicine. He is a member of several organizations which include the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, American College of Surgeons and American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons. He specializes in arthroscopic surgery and robotic, computer-assisted partial knee replacement. Dr. Parr is a clinical assistant professor of orthopedic surgery at the University of Texas Health Center in Houston. He graduated from Southwestern Medical School in Dallas and completed his internship and residency at San Antonio's Army Medical Center.
Hunter S. Greene, MD (Summit Orthopedic Specialists, Carmichael, Calif.). Dr. Greene is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon who specializes in sports medicine. He focuses on pediatric and adult sports medicine, including arthroscopic shoulder, elbow, hip, knee and ankle techniques. He is fellowship trained in hip arthroscopy from the University of California in San Francisco and is certified in robotic partial knee resurfacing known as MAKOplasty. Dr. Greene earned his medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston and completed an internship at the University of California Davis Medical School. He also completed an orthopedic surgery residency at the Yale New Haven (Conn.) Hospital. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, California Orthopaedic Association and the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine.
David E. Lent, MD (Southern Westchester Orthopedics & Sports Medicine, New York). Dr. Lent is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon and chief of sports medicine at Southern Westchester Orthopedics & Sports Medicine. He's a trauma specialist and a focuses on minimally invasive surgery and advanced arthroscopic techniques. He also uses the MAKOplasty robotic partial knee replacement system. Dr. Lent received his medical degree from New York University School of Medicine. He completed his general surgery and orthopedic residencies at Montefiore Medical Center in Bronx, N.Y. He also did a sports medicine fellowship at Staten Island (N.Y.) University Hospital. He's a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
Kevin R. Stone, MD (The Stone Clinic, San Francisco). Dr. Stone is founder of The Stone Clinic and chairman of the Stone Research Foundation in San Francisco, which conducts research on advanced surgical techniques and tissue regeneration. His specializes in treatment of athletes and people with arthritis and focuses on knee and shoulder injuries. He also uses minimally-invasive robotic techniques. Dr. Stone holds approximately 50 patents on inventions to improve healthcare. He received his medical degree from Harvard University in Massachusetts for internal medicine and orthopedic surgery, and he completed a fellowship in knee surgery under J. Richard Steadman, MD. Dr. Stone is the co-founder of ReGen Biologics, a publicly traded medical device company focused on meniscus regeneration. He is the physician for the Smuin Ballet in San Francisco.
Thomas Myers, MD (Myers Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic Center, Atlanta). Dr. Myers is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon and sports medicine specialist. He founded the Myers Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic Center in 2008. His expertise includes ACL reconstruction, arthroscopic knee and shoulder procedures, robotic-assisted joint replacement and rotator cuff surgery. While training with renowned orthopedic surgeon James Andrews, MD, Dr. Myers served as an associate team physician for the Washington Redskins and participated in spring training for the Tampa Bay Devil Rays and the Cincinnati Reds.
