Craig Milhouse, MD. Dr. Craig Milhouse has been the medical director of the Anaheim Ducks since 2012. He is board-certified in internal medicine. Dr. Milhouse earned his medical degree from Wayne State University and interned at St. Johns Hospital, both in Detroit. He conducted his internal medicine residency at Huntington Memorial Hospital in Pasadena, Calif. He holds a sports medicine fellowship from the Kerlan-Jobe Orthopaedic Clinic in Los Angeles. Dr. Milhouse is currently in private practice in Anaheim, Calf. He has served as a team physician for the Los Angeles Rams, Anaheim Bullfrogs, Anaheim Splash, Anaheim Piranhas, Occidental College and University of Southern California. In addition to his work with the Ducks, Dr. Milhouse currently serves as a team physician for the Los Angeles Angels and Fullerton Junior College.
Neal S. ElAttrache, MD. Dr. ElAttrache is a physician with Kerlan-Jobe Orthopaedic Clinic in Los Angeles. Lawrence Lenke, MD. Dr. Lenke is a spine consultant to the St. Louis Blues, St. Louis Rams and St. Louis Cardinals. He serves as a professor of orthopedic surgery at Washington University School of Medicine, where he also serves as co-chief of adult and pediatric spine care, scoliosis and reconstructive surgery. Dr. Lenke is director of spinal surgery at Shriners Hospital for Children in St. Louis. He is a member of North American Spine Society, American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and Scoliosis Research Society. In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Lenke has published several articles based on his research in scoliosis, acute spinal cord injury and spinal implants. Dr. Lenke earned his medical degree at Northwestern University Medical School in Chicago and completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at Washington University School of Medicine. He also completed his pediatric and adult spine surgery fellowship at Washington University.
Matthew Matava, MD. Dr. Matava is a team physician for the St. Louis Blues. He is board-certified in orthopedic surgery and sports medicine. Dr. Matava earned his medical degree from the University of Missouri in Kansas City and served his residency at Emory University Affiliated Hospitals in Atlanta. He holds a sports medicine and arthroscopic surgery fellowship from Cincinnati Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic Center. Dr. Matava specializes in knee and shoulder injuries. He is a professor of orthopedic surgery and physical therapy and co-chief of sports medicine at Washington University Orthopaedics in St. Louis.
Matthew Smith, MD. Dr. Smith is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon and a team physician for the St. Louis Blues. He has a clinical specialty in elbow and shoulder surgery. Dr. Smith earned his medical degree from the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine in Richmond. He completed a general surgery residency and an orthopedic surgery residency at Case Western Reserve University, University Hospitals of Cleveland. Dr. Smith holds a sports medicine and shoulder surgery fellowship from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor and a shoulder and elbow surgery fellowship from the American Sports Medicine Institute in Birmingham, Ala. Rick Wright, MD. Dr. Wright is the head team physician of the St. Louis Blues. He is board-certified in orthopedic surgery, sports medicine and internal medicine. He received his medical degree from the University of Missouri – Columbia and completed his residency at the Minneapolis Sports Medicine Center. He completed his sports medicine fellowship at the Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tenn. Dr. Wright has expertise in ankle, foot, knee and shoulder arthroscopy. He is currently co-chief of sports medicine, residency program director and professor of orthopedic surgery at Washington University Orthopaedics in St. Louis. Dr. Wright is also a team physician for the St. Louis Rams.
Tampa Bay Lightning
Geoffrey Cronen, MD. Dr. Cronen is an official team physician for the Tampa Bay Lightning and several local collegiate athletes. He practices with Florida Medical Clinic in Decade City, Fla., and has a professional interest in treating patients with spinal deformities, trauma, tumors and structural imbalances. In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Cronen serves as an assistant professor at the University of South Florida in Tampa. He is a member of American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Cervical Spine Research Society, Scoliosis Research Society and North American Spine Society. Mike Wilkinson, MD. Dr. Wilkinson is a team physician for the Vancouver Canucks and works with the Canadian Rowing Team as well as the BC senior Rugby Team. Ben Shaffer, MD. Dr. Shaffer is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon and the head team physician of the Washington Capitals. He has expertise in sports medicine, arthroscopy and knee, shoulder and elbow injuries. He currently practices at Washington Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine in Washington, D.C., and serves as a staff physician of the orthopedic surgery department of Sibley Memorial Hospital in Washington, D.C. Dr. Shaffer earned his medical degree from the University of Florida College of Medicine in Gainesville. He interned at Mt. Sinai Hospital in New York and served his residency at Hospital for Joint Diseases and Orthopaedic Institute in New York. Jamie Dubberley, MD. Dr. Dubberly currently serves as an assistant team physician for the Winnipeg Jets. He practices at the Pan Am Clinic in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
