Dr. James Andrews Performs Knee Surgery on Vikings' Adrian Peterson

James Andrews, MD, founder of Andrews Institute for Orthopedics & Sports Medicine in Gulf Breeze, Fla., recently performed knee surgery on Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson, according to a Minneapolis Star report.
Mr. Peterson tore his anterior cruciate and medial collateral ligaments during games this past weekend. Dr. Andrews performed the procedure shortly after the injury and Mr. Peterson is expected to spend time rehabbing his knee in both Minnesota and Houston.
