E-Prescribing Adoption Among Physicians Increases Five Fold Over Three Years

The percent of office-based physicians using e-prescribing systems has increased from less than 10 percent to 52 percent in three years, according to a Surescripts news release. Surescripts' study of e-prescribing use in the United States also found that 94 percent of retail pharmacies are connected and receiving e-prescriptions.
