Several healthcare organizations have joined Psychological Assessment Resources to support concussion education in sports through PAR's Concussion Recognition & Response app, according to a news release.
The app provides concussion education, home symptom monitoring and guidance for children returning to sports after suffering a concussion.
The organizations that joined include the Children's National Medical Center in Washington, D.C.; the Matthew Gfeller Sport-Related Traumatic Brain Injury Research Center at UNC-Chapel Hill; Safe Kids USA; MomsTeam; Xenith; Sports Legacy Institute; the Youth Football Coaches Association and the Brain Injury Association of Maryland.
