The State HIE Program Policy Office and the Regional Extension Center Program recently issued a 75-minute online training course called Interoperability Basics, according to a Health IT Buzz report.
The course offers information regarding the meaningful use stage 2 data exchange requirements, the necessary interoperability building blocks, the path to meeting the stage 2 criteria, and it highlights the effect of health data exchange on specific categories of care.
The course is designed for Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology grantees, providers and implementers. It is the first of five modules that will be released to inform the process of meeting meaningful use stage 2 requirements on interoperability.
