AHRQ to Fund Research Projects That Inform Development of Meaningful Use Objectives

Health Information Technology

The Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality has announced its interest in funding research demonstration projects that will provide evidence to inform the development of meaningful use objectives.
AHRQ is particularly interested in projects that will evaluate the implementation of stage 3 meaningful use objectives in primary care practices for the Medicare and Medicaid electronic health record incentive programs. It is also interested in projects that propose strategies for improving the objectives at the policy level and EHR innovations that would support meeting the proposed objectives.

AHRQ is interested in applications that propose projects that will disseminate results before June 2014.
