Sept.11-17 Named National Health IT Week

President Barack Obama has named Sept. 11-17, 2011 National Health Information Technology Week, according to a White House proclamation. The week was created to emphasize the importance of secure and efficient information systems, such as electronic health records and electronic prescriptions, in improving healthcare delivery.
