Orthopedic surgeons are now able to use an iPod Touch app to assist during total knee replacements, according to a KNDO report. Fabio Orozco, MD, an orthopedic surgeon with a special interest in knee procedures, recently used the technology to improve the accuracy of cuts and implant alignment during a total knee replacement procedure.
