At the 19th Annual Ambulatory Surgery Centers Conference in Chicago, Jeff Peo, vice president of acquisitions and development of Ambulatory Surgical Centers of America, and Troy DeDecker, of Health Management Associates, will give a presentation titled "JVs — Can Your Center and An Aggressive Hospital Thrive Together?" The session will discuss opportunities for joint venture surgery centers that include aggressive hospital partners. Mr. Peo has experience running a knowledge management and information technology consulting division for a Fortune 100 company in addition to his experience at ASCOA.
